Australian Development League (ADL) Announcement

We are excited to introduce the Australian Development League (ADL), a new initiative focused on fostering the growth and development of football in Australia. With the season running from March to September, we invite clubs, teams, private academies, and school programs across the nation to register and join this innovative league structure aimed at players of all ages and skill levels.

League Structure and Fees

The ADL will feature a comprehensive league structure including boys and girls divisions from Under 5 through to Seniors. The registration fees are designed to be accessible, with a team registration fee set at 300 Australian dollars and an individual player fee at 180 Australian dollars for the main season.

In addition to the ADL, we are pleased to introduce the Australian Development Summer League, taking place from October to December. During this season, the registration fees will be reduced to 150 Australian dollars per team and 90 Australian dollars per individual player.
Specific dates for each region will be communicated in due course to keep everyone informed and engaged.

Regional and National Competitions

Every major town and city will host a weekly league, ensuring inclusivity for players from smaller areas. To support those smaller clubs, representatives will conduct clinics and high-performance programs, culminating in festival-style weekends where clubs can compete in multiple matches. The goal is to create an environment that unites players, fostering both competitive spirit and a community atmosphere.

Matches will be scheduled on different days than current leagues, allowing players to participate in both leagues with separate registrations and insurances. This flexibility ensures that our players can maximize their footballing opportunities without overlap.

All income generated through this initiative will remain with the clubs, with the only fees taken by the ADL being the outlined registration fees. This model is crafted to provide more football for our players and pave clear pathways for their development. Utilizing advanced AI scouting technology, we will also provide valuable feedback to players and deliver data to Premier League clubs, promoting talent recognition and advancement.

Pathway to International Competition

The ADL is developing a structure that culminates in a national series final, featuring the winners from each regional league. The champion team will earn a prestigious opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom to compete against elite teams. Additionally, select teams for each age group will be formed to participate in Talent Identification games in the UK.

We are also thrilled to announce that all teams in all age groups are invited to participate in a showcase tournament in the UK from March 27th to March 30th, 2026, where professional scouts will be in attendance! This is a fantastic opportunity for players to display their talents on an international stage and catch the eye of recruitment professionals.

As part of our commitment to player development, all players will have access to potential exit pathways, including connections with registered FIFA agents, opportunities for U.S. college recruitment, and participation in full-time international academies in the UK.
